Amanda Vestri, a senior at Syracuse, secured sixth place in the women's 5,000-meter final in 16:25.30 at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships at the Albuquerque Convention Center in New Mexico. Vestri was competing in her first career indoor final and made her first NCAA championship appearance since taking 10th in the 10,000-meter outdoor final in 2021 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
