Freshman Brianna Nerud captured the women's 3000m junior steeplechase title at the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Drake Stadium this afternoon. Nerud finished in 10:15.67 at the championships. She took 17th in the 3000m steeplechase at the NCAA Championship with a time of 10:18.16, garnering USTFCCCA Honorable Mention All-America honors.
