Amanda Vestri, a senior at Syracuse University, took third in the top section of the women's 10,000 meters in a lifetime-best 32:08.26 at the Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track and Angell Field in Palo Alto, Calif. Vestri elevated to the No. 16 all-time collegiate competitor, running her first 10,000 since placing 10th at the 2021 NCAA Division 1 outdoor final.
